  • Registered optometrist and orthoptist
  • Graduated from National Institute of Ophthalmic Sciences (Academic arm of Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital- THONEH)
  • Attended International Orthoptic Association (IOA) Orthoptic fellowship program (conducted by President IOA, Karen McMain and other orthoptists from Canada and US)
  • Has worked as an orthoptist cum optometrist and clinical tutor for optometry students in THONEH from 2014 to 2017
  • Has worked closely with pediatric ophthalmologists to examine visual defects, injury, and aid in the diagnosis of  visual system dysfunctions involving vision, eye movement, eye alignment and binocularity.
  • Able to perform series of tests for assessment of vision, focusing ability, binocular functions and eye movement in children of all ages (including babies age of 6 month old), and adult as well.
  • As an Orthoptist, she specializes on the non-surgical treatment of amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (squint/ crooked eye).
  • Able to converse in English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka.
